Tourism Marketing Fee Approved For All San Diego Hotels Author - San Diego Dancesport Championships Jan 11, 2008 Effective January 1st, 2008 the city of San Diego has approved an initiative by the San Diego hotel community to institute a tourism marketing assessment of 2% at all hotels. The "TMD" (Tourism Marketing DistricT) fee will be added to hotel guests final bill at check-out. This fee is over and above the current occupancy tax of 10.565%. [go back]
